Welcome to Excel Achievement Center! We consider it a privilege to work with your most valued possession-- your child.
We know that not all children have the same learning style, thus the care that your child receives here will be based on his or her individual needs. Once a child discovers his/her own learning style, he/she begins to experience confidence and gain self-esteem. We are so excited to be a part of this process!
Unlike traditional programs, your child will not receive endless worksheets, but specific one-on-one tutoring that will help him/her to transfer all skills to real life reading, writing, and mathematics. Through our special curriculum, your child will learn the art of excellence and the power of thinking.
Teamwork is an essential element of our program. Parents are expected to meet with the center director on a monthly basis to discuss the progress of their child. Excel Achievement Center, with your permission, will also contact your child’s teacher to learn about his/her progress at school.

Our Mission
The Excel Achievement Center is designed to meet the individual learning style of your child. We realize that everyone does not learn in the same way and that promoting individualism is the key to confidence. We will help your child discover the art of excellence and the power of thinking.
Through specific strategies, we unlock the mystery of learning for our students and assist them in discovering the wonder of questioning and the joy of finding the answer. Our curriculum is based on years of sound research, and is a supplemental service in the state of South Dakota.
Common Misconceptions about Tutoring:
All tutoring is the same:
Research shows that one-on-one tutoring in a facility with individualized curriculum is more effective than in-home or group tutoring. Research also proves that very qualified teachers must be used.
Tutoring is expensive:
Excel Achievement Center is able to get students to grade level in half the time of its competitors! Therefore, the cost is LESS than if the client uses one of these competitors.
Anyone can tutor:
Some people feel that a college student or individual tutor will get the same results. Excel Achievement Center is very results driven. Our 2008 statistics show that, on average, our students go up 2 grade levels in just 4 months!
Tutoring is only for those who struggle academically:
Many of the students at Excel Achievement Center do very well in school--they simply desire to do better. With colleges becoming more competitive than ever, parents want to give their child the advantage of performing at top levels in school. Parents also utilize Excel Achievement Center to motivate their child by making learning fun!
