Our History

Excel Achievement Center is founded on research based methodology and believes in using best teaching practice at all times. All teachers at Excel Achievement Center hold a Master’s Degree in Education and specialize in a field. Excel’s philosophy states that students will receive one-on-one instruction using a variety of methods. Excel offers a more hands-on approach than traditional learning centers and has a strong focus on individual learning styles. The Center’s mission statement- “Learning for life!”- promotes strategies that teach skills which are easily transferred to real-life reading, writing, and mathematics. Each student learns strategies that will carry over to their classrooms, college, and life.

Excel Achievement Center is opening a developmentally appropriate preschool. Similar to the learning center, the preschool will use research-based practices along with highly qualified teachers. We will encourage “Learning for life!” from an early age.
